Born in Texas, but raised in the Pacific Northwest on a farm east of Redmond, Terri has been creative from age 8. She loved to draw, paint and design all kinds of things. Terri’s mom took up oil painting first, and, with some heavy encouragement, got Terri started painting on her own in the early 1980’s. Realizing that she needed some help, Terri signed up for a few art classes and ended up taking 18 years of art education. Today, Terri’s paintings show a passion for glass, reflections, and a wide range of varied subject matter. Sometimes funny, most often unusual, and always colorful, Terri’s paintings are never disappointing.

“Through my teaching, painting, and other artistic endeavors, I hope to continue to learn and grow as an artist. Outside of painting, I enjoy my family and friends, costume making; especially at Halloween time, going on motorcycle trips with my husband and our friends, and spending time with my grandkids.”

Terri taught her first beginning oil painting class in October 1999, and is now teaching in Redmond and at Art’s Umbrella in Bothell. Her work has been shown, awarded, and sold at shows in Edmonds, Bothell, and Bremertonl. Terri had her first one-person exhibition, “Eclectic Bits of Reality”, in August 2004 at the Kaewyn Gallery in Bothell, and will have her second one-person show there in September 2008.
Terri is a member of the Cottage Lake Artist Guild and has done shows at several venues including St. Michelle Winery’s “ Festival of Grapes”, Borders & Books, Molbacks, Redhook Brewery, and Redmond Town Center, to name a few.
