She was initially self-taught but subsequently attended more than 10 years of formal classes and workshops.   As a certified  Master  Gardener,  she  combines  her  love of  painting  with  her appreciation for the natural beauty of  Botanicals. 

She has willingly  donated  some of her Art work for special  charity  auctions, and is especially  focused  on the welfare of animals.  Sandi currently resides in Kirkland, Washington with her husband and two cats.
