Marta Jenings-Jenkins knew she was destined to become an artist at an early age, and her passion has continued to grow as her interests expanded and she became more involved with other artists. While living in Santa Barbara, California she became founder of the Goleta Artists Support Group and an active member of the Santa Barbara Artist Rainbow Association.
After moving to the northwest and settling in the Puget Sound area her interests shifted to landscape and especially the seascape of this beautiful part of the country. Looking for a medium to better express herself in this new found passion she discovered the versatile mediun of acrylic. Acrylics offered the unlimited opportunities in application to express the true feelings of her work.
